About Judy

Judy Dowse owns & runs Designer Tan & has done so since April 2009. Judy offers professional expertise, exceptional customer service & a friendly welcome when you visit the salon. Designer Tan has been Clayfield’s local tanning salon since 2001 and is conveniently located on Sandgate Road, with offstreet parking available.

She has recently introduced Crystal, who works in the salon part time and offers the same friendly greeting, expertise in solarium tanning and has had extensive spray tan training.

Designer tan offers a large range of spray tan options, including 1hr and 2hr rapid developing lotions, traditional 5hr and 8hr lotions and at least 8 brands covering light, medium and dark colours with a range of bronze, brown & golden tan base.

From July 1 2011 Designer Tan has been granted a User License and become an accredited Tanning Salon under the Radiation Safety Act of 1999. This further demonstrates Judy’s commitment to tanning safely and effectively.

The newest addition to Designer Tan is the fabulous Infrar-Red Sauna and Massage Bed. Each 30minute session provides a natural heat source which has been proven as a benefit to the body for more than a generation. The bonus is the Therapeutic Massage along the length of the body, provided by 2 sets of heated jade rollers.
